Construction of the Furong Guoli RV Hotel, part of the Xiangtan Wanlou Youth Wharf Phase 3 project in Hunan Province, has entered its final stage. Located on the west bank of the Xiangjiang River near the historic Wanlou Tower, the project covers a total land area of 105,806.96 m² and includes 120 RVs. It is designed as an “RV hotel + camping resort” targeting family and parent-child tourism. Progress has reached 90%, with over 400 workers finishing interior decoration and landscaping. The hotel is expected to open before the 6th Hunan Tourism Development Conference.

On April 25, the Oonuma Camp Field opens on the summit of Mount Akagi (Gunma Prefecture), rebuilt on the site of a former lakeside campground. Area: approx. 68,000 m²; total cost: ¥1.8 billion. It features 109 plots, some with trailer houses (travel trailers) with hotel-like interiors and dog runs. Rental equipment is available. Reservations are handled via Snow Peak’s website; Golden Week slots are already fully booked. Separately, on April 24, the 'Hobo no Eki AKAGI' facility started full operations, offering food and goods using local ingredients.

In Stade, the access road to the motorhome site at Schiffertor has been completely renovated after repeated guest complaints about potholes and water accumulation. Operator SMTG paved the area and installed new drainage pipes. Work began in November 2025 and was completed in time for the season despite frost delays. The site remained open during construction. In 2025, the 79-space site set a record with 18,635 vehicle overnight stays.

The authorities in Barmstedt have initiated a change to the development plan to create a new motorhome parking area. The site at Roissy-en-Brie-Platz/Marktstraße is planned to accommodate ten motorhomes and approximately 40 passenger cars. The city council will make the final decision on April 21.
