Worms has opened a new motorhome parking facility called "Mondschein Caravaning" on Mondscheinweg street, replacing an old lot on the Rhine riverbank. Each parking spot features an electrical outlet, though final finishing work is still underway.

In Arnsberg, a new 20-space facility in the Ruhr Valley has opened with digital booking capabilities, located within walking distance of the historic city center.

Demand and statistics

According to PiNCAMP data, 57% of campsites in the popular Sauerland tourism region are booked for Whitsunday period. German authorities report 1.9 million registered motorhomes nationwide, with 72,000 new permits issued last year.
