South African companies Conqueror and Invader have unveiled new off-road RVs. The Conqueror UEV-30 is a luxury fifth-wheel caravan for pickups, while the Invader Viator is a compact pop-top camper.

The South African off-road RV market has two new additions.

Conqueror UEV-30

Conqueror introduced the UEV-30 caravan, designed for fifth-wheel towing by a pickup. It measures 8.24 m in length and weighs 2.42 t. Inside: two berths (200×160 cm), a full bathroom with shower, and two kitchens. Price is unannounced; a used smaller UEV 25 costs around €50,000.

Invader Viator

Invader presented the Viator off-road camper. An electric lift raises the roof from 2.05 to 2.7 m in 60 seconds, revealing a queen-size bed and a shower. Curb weight is 1250 kg with a payload of 550 kg.
