Italy: parking lot fire in Monterosso

On the night of April 29, a fire broke out in the parking lot on Via Acquaderni in the Monterosso district of Bergamo. The flames completely destroyed a motorhome and one car, damaging two other vehicles. A tree and part of the fence of a nearby football field were also affected.

Three fire crews extinguished the blaze and removed gas cylinders from the motorhome, preventing an explosion. Residents were awakened by explosions. Preliminary reports suggest a short circuit as the possible cause.
