German biathlete tours Italy in a motorhome

Julia Kink, a 22-year-old German biathlete with two IBU Cup wins and four junior world titles, is vacationing in Italy in a Volkswagen camper van. She shares photos from Sardinia on Instagram, combining cycling and hiking with beach time. Kink cooks on a gas stove and sleeps in the van instead of a hotel. The trip comes as she prepares for the 2026/27 season following Franziska Preuß's retirement.
