Finnish company Karoo has introduced the Adventure Camper caravan specifically designed for electric vehicles. The aerodynamic design reduces air resistance by 51% compared to traditional models, helping to preserve driving range. The caravan measures 5.3 meters in length, weighs 1350 kg, and features a lithium-ion battery starting from 2.5 kWh. Deliveries will begin in August 2026 with a starting price of 36,700 euros.

The workshop Vanaconda Customs has presented a custom camper van on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. It features a non-standard layout with separate lounge, kitchen with oven, bathroom, and a convertible rear area. Off-grid systems include solar panels up to 600 W, a power station, and water tanks.

In Finland, Ingå authorities plan to create a motorhome parking area in the small boat harbor this summer. In Germany, Mettmann rejected a resident proposal to ban motorhome parking on Haydnstraße, keeping current rules.

A towed caravan overturned on the Ysitie highway in Tampere, blocking traffic. The incident occurred on March 16 around 17:30 near the Karkunvuori tunnel, causing hour-and-a-half-long traffic jams. Two people were in the towing SUV, with no injuries reported.
