Two US campgrounds have announced expansions and infrastructure upgrades for 2026.

Flint Creek Water Park (Mississippi)

Flint Creek Water Park in Wiggins, Mississippi, has begun construction of 26 new fully accessible RV sites on the site of a former primitive campground. The project, named Tallulah Campground, is funded by the state legislature and the Department of Transportation. Completion is expected by the end of the year. The park already has 158 RV sites, but new ones are needed to meet demand, especially during major events when all sites are booked.

Field & Stream RV Park in Brookline, New Hampshire, has opened reservations for the 2026 season. The 54-site park with full hookups is located less than an hour from Boston, making it convenient for metro area residents. During the off-season, electrical infrastructure upgrades and site improvements were completed.
