In Serbia, campers and caravans remain a niche segment of tourism, lagging behind spa resorts and apartments in popularity. The only official campsite in Fruška Gora National Park — Eco-Camp Stražilovo — is located on the outskirts of Sremski Karlovci. It is leased to a private operator and covers an area of about 20,000 square meters.
The campsite features three glamping tents, two stationary caravans, a sanitary block with a shower and washing machine, and mosquito and tick treatment. According to the park director, this is the only place in the region where multi-day stays with a camper are allowed.
Growing Family Demand
Despite limited infrastructure, interest in campers is growing. Ling Mobility Solutions from Novi Sad reports that families with children are increasingly choosing campers for vacations due to flexibility, comfort, and cost-effectiveness. Rental combines transport and accommodation in one solution, allowing budget and route control. The company offers modern campers with full equipment and technical support.
