In March 2026, German motorhome sales rose 10.1% and caravan sales 16.8%. In Finland, February motorhome registrations surged over 50%, while caravans dropped 30%

According to the German Caravaning Industry Association (CIVD), 9,140 new motorhomes (+10.1% year-on-year) and 2,662 new caravans (+16.8%) were registered in Germany in March 2026. In the first quarter, motorhome sales increased by more than 29%, while caravan sales remained slightly below the previous year's level.

In Finland, industry association data show that new motorhome registrations in February 2026 rose by more than 50% compared to February 2025. Meanwhile, caravan registrations fell by about 30%, which the association attributes to consumer caution. Overall, combined registrations for motorhomes and caravans in the first two months of 2026 grew by nearly 10%.
