On April 26, two cars collided on the A84 near Villedieu-les-Poêles, one towing a caravan. Two 22-year-olds with minor injuries were hospitalized; two elderly people were unharmed. Traffic was blocked, with a 3 km queue.

On April 26, 2026, around 10 a.m., a road accident involving two vehicles, one towing a caravan, occurred on the A84 motorway near Villedieu-les-Poêles (Manche department).

According to sources, two elderly people (aged 80 and 82) were unharmed and remained at the scene. Two 22-year-olds sustained minor injuries and were taken to Avranches hospital. Twelve firefighters were deployed.

According to Bison Futé, traffic was blocked, creating a queue of about three kilometers in the Caen-Rennes direction, which lasted until 1 p.m.
