American company Bossi Vanz has introduced the Stealth Camper Van motorhome based on a 4x4 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2026. The model features an off-road King suspension, underbody protection, a winch, an LED light bar, and 34-inch BFGoodrich KO3 tires. The interior includes a lounge area with swivel seats, a kitchen unit, storage cabinets, and an improvised sleeping area, with autonomy provided by two 270 Ah batteries and a 113-liter freshwater tank.

Airstream Atlas 25RT, a North American-style camper van

American manufacturer Airstream has introduced the updated Atlas 25RT camper van based on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. The 7.54-meter-long model features a layout unusual for Europe, with two separate twin beds at the rear, a split bathroom, and three distinct functional areas. Standard equipment includes a diesel heating system, air conditioning, a 6.9 kWh lithium battery, and a hot water system, with a starting price of $289,900.

Dicot Designs has introduced the Mesa camper van based on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, designed for remote travel. The vehicle features all-wheel drive, BFGoodrich all-terrain tires, an Apex Precision System for rapid tire pressure adjustment, and an Evictus pneumatic suspension kit. The fuel tank capacity has been increased to 170 liters, providing a range of approximately 1500 km, and the roof is equipped with a solar panel and a tent.

MANN-FILTER advises motorhome owners to check and replace the cabin air filter before the start of the season. Replacing the filter, especially with activated carbon or FreciousPlus models, can improve interior air quality, which is important after long periods of inactivity. The company offers filters for most European platforms, including Fiat Ducato and Mercedes Sprinter, and recommends replacement once a year or every 15,000 km.

Review of the La Strada Regent E Motorhome

La Strada has introduced the Regent E motorhome based on the Mercedes Sprinter, measuring about six meters in length and featuring two longitudinal beds. Argentina begins production of motorhomes and e-bikes

Mercedes-Benz's Argentine representative, Prestige, has started manufacturing motorhomes based on the Sprinter and electric bicycles at its plant in Virrey del Pino. The motorhome production is part of a strategy to diversify and utilize the plant's capacity. The company's president also noted record Sprinter sales in January and plans to export the model to the United States.

German company unveils carbon-fibre camper van Orca based on Mercedes-Benz Sprinter

German engineering firm Reiter Engineering presented the Orca base model camper van at the CMT 2026 travel and leisure fair. The carbon fibre body reduces weight by about 600 kg to under 1800 kg, increasing payload capacity to 1600 kg and cargo volume to 24.3 m³. The gross vehicle weight remains 3.5 tonnes, allowing it to be driven with a standard car (Class B) licence in the EU.

The 2026 camper van market is split into two segments: affordable entry-level models and off-road versions for adventure travel. Budget options include the Bürstner Papillon from €39,999 and the Forster Livin'up Pro, while off-road models feature the Adria Supertwin 4x4 on a Mercedes Sprinter base and the Hymer Grand Canyon S 700 CrossTrail.
