In the municipality of Sant Josep on Ibiza, the former Casa Lola estate, previously known for illegal construction, is turning into an informal settlement. Residents report an increase in caravans and makeshift shacks, as well as nighttime activity, raising concerns. On April 28, police arrested a man for attempting to illegally occupy a neighboring house, heightening security fears.

A car driver died in a head-on collision with a motorhome on the N-340 highway in Roda de Berà, Tarragona. Traffic was closed for nearly two hours; the motorhome driver was unhurt.

About 500 motorhomes and caravans staged a protest on the TF-1 highway in Tenerife, driving from San Miguel de Abona towards Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Police on Lanzarote dismantled a drug network, seizing over 21 kg of cocaine from a motorhome in Costa Teguise. Five suspects aged 55 to 58 were arrested, and the ringleader has been remanded in custody.
