The draft Automotive Industry Standards (AIS) introduce type approval rules for caravans and troop carriers. Additionally, testing standards for air conditioning and heating systems in cabin-equipped agricultural tractors are set. The rules do not apply to hybrid or fully electric tractors.

A Bolero camper carrying 23 passengers overturned Friday evening in Kullu district. Two victims are in critical condition and were taken to Shimla hospital. The driver is accused of speeding and losing control.
