South Korean camping gear brand DOD (Highlight Brands) launches DOD CHA, a mobile camper van touring campsites nationwide from late April to June, offering tea tastings, equipment exhibitions, and consultations
South Korean camping gear brand DOD (Highlight Brands) has announced the launch of DOD CHA, a mobile camper van project that will visit campsites across South Korea. The project starts in late April in Chungju and runs through June. The route includes stops in Yeoncheon, Mungyeong, Gimje, and Yeongwol. Each stop reportedly lasts one day and one night, or operates on a 1-night/2-day schedule.
The camper van features a wooden interior design. Inside, visitors CAN enjoy tea tastings, an exhibition of DOD clothing and gear, and a zone for testing large tents with setup consultations. Activities such as board games, quizzes, and photo sessions are also offered. One source mentions a delivery, setup, and removal service starting at 220,000 won per night, though this is not confirmed by other sources.
The project aims to replace traditional store visits with on-site meetings at campsites, allowing customers to interact directly with the brand and its products in a camping environment.
