Two Swedish motorhome buyers file complaints with ARN over serious defects

Kai and Josefine König from Monheim sold their house and bought a motorhome. In 2020, they embarked on a year-long trip across Europe with two children, visiting over 30 countries. The family eventually settled in Småland, Sweden.

Minna Kinnunen founded the company 'Fjällsinnen' and switched to living in a motorhome to work remotely from the mountain regions of Jämtland and Härjedalen. She aims to become 'Sweden's freest person' by running her business from her vehicle.

In Mönsterås, Sweden, unknown perpetrators stole a 1988 Polarvagn 547 GL caravan. The theft occurred during the night of April 19-20 from a private property. Investigation leader Peter Karlsson noted that caravan thefts are rare and police cannot recall a recent similar case. The caravan's value is unknown, and no suspects have been identified.

A caravan owner accidentally drilled a hole through the chassis number plate. According to an expert, caravans from 1969 onward have a stamped chassis number on the frame. If that is missing, a new number can be stamped and a registration inspection performed, while keeping the original plate.
