Japanese company HIRABO (Hirano Auto Body) has launched the BOUKEN light camper, based on the Suzuki Every. Its key feature is a layout that allows two adults to sleep without unloading cargo, using a portable power station instead of a fixed battery.
HIRABO (a division of Hirano Auto Body) has officially unveiled the new light camper 'BOUKEN' (BOUKEN号), built on the Suzuki Every Van. The model solves a common campervan issue: the need to move luggage before sleeping. Thanks to a clever layout and an adjustable-height bed (three levels, optional length over 240 cm), two adults CAN sleep without unloading their belongings.
Instead of a complex fixed battery system, the BOUKEN uses a portable power station. This simplifies maintenance and upgrades while reducing weight. The model's concept is 'Simple is Best'.
The camper premiered at the Kanagawa Camping Car Fair 2026 in Kawasaki on April 25–26, 2026. It is already on sale.
