The French motorhome and campervan market continues to grow. In 2025, over 25,000 new and 67,000 used motorhomes, campervans and caravans were sold, totalling more than 90,000 units. Two-thirds of new motorhome buyers are retirees, while vanlifers are mostly working professionals. The average annual mileage of such vehicles is 8,600 km.

At the Perpignan exhibition (Foir’Expo de Perpignan, held from 8 to 11 January 2026), an entire 'village' zone is dedicated to motorhomes. The sole exhibitor in this area, local company Maeva Camper, sells an average of one vehicle per day. A total of 27 motorhomes and campervans are on display, including new and used models. New models start at €60,000, with used vehicles being the most popular. Interest in this travel format is growing among younger people.
