Kia PV5 Transformed into Modern Camper Van: Vantrack Offers Kitchen and Roof 'Penthouse'

Vantrack presented the modular LightCamp concept for the electric Kia PV5 van at the Campervan Days exhibition in the Netherlands. The concept features a removable kitchen with an induction hob and sink, and a roof with a 96x65 cm panoramic skylight and sleeping area. The basic module kit is estimated to cost around 10,000 euros, while the Kia PV5 vehicle itself starts at 25,000 euros.

Camper van with tourists swept into sea in Turkey

A camper van with two Russian tourists was swept into the sea in the Turkish resort of Kemer. The incident occurred due to a sudden flash flood caused by heavy rain. The people were evacuated by motorboats and the vehicle was recovered using excavators, with no reported injuries.

Fiat unveils Dolce Camper concept vehicle

Fiat presented the Dolce Camper concept at the São Paulo auto show, designed for daily use and outdoor trips. The vehicle is based on a universal platform that can accommodate an internal combustion engine, a hybrid system, or a fully electric powertrain. The minimalist interior features two separate front seats and a shared rear sofa, with an inflatable tent on the roof for overnight stays. Series production of the model is not promised.
