Danes trapped: giant hailstorm wrecks campsite

Overnight on 25 July 2023, orange-sized hail hit the Camping Wien campsite on Lake Garda, Italy. Several Danish tourists' cars and caravans were severely damaged; one man suffered a broken arm and a head injury from shattered caravan windows. The hailstorm also damaged a passenger aircraft near Milan, forcing an emergency landing.
